the operation process

discover the options for a self-winding mechanical watch

To ensure the proper functioning of a self-winding mechanical watch, it is essential that the mainspring accumulates sufficient power reserve. It is often overlooked that this watch must first be manually wound before it will operate automatically, a process called initiation. Turn the crown at 3 o'clock clockwise for approximately 20 revolutions to prime the spring. This action manually tightens the small spring inside, allowing the watch to operate. After initiation, the watch winds automatically using an oscillating weight, but it must be worn at least eight hours a day to maximize the power reserve. If not worn for more than 15 hours, the initiation process must be repeated. reduced

find out now how to start the watch

Alpha adjustment

01 - ENGAGE THE CROWN

Make sure the crown is fully pushed in to make the connection with the winding mechanism. If the crown is removed, the watch enters time setting mode.

02 - TURN THE CROWN

Turn the crown clockwise (away from you) for approximately 20 to 30 full turns. This action winds the mainspring, ensuring a full charge for optimal operation.

03 - REPEAT THE OPERATION IN CASE OF NOT CARRYING

A fully charged watch should run for approximately 10-15 hours without requiring any additional movement. If the watch is not worn for at least this period, it is recommended to repeat the winding process to maintain proper operation.

find out about the different options that alpha bracelets offer

Fitting the mesh bracelet

01 - ALIGN THE HOLES

Make sure the holes in the watch case line up with the pins on the Milanese strap.

02 - POSITION THE BRACELET

Place the band against the watch case so that the pins on the band face the mounting holes.

03 - PRESS WITH YOUR FINGER

Use your finger to apply light pressure to the strap pin, gently pushing it toward the inside of the hole in the watch case. Feel the resistance to make sure the pin is engaged and secure.

adjust the alpha to your wrist

01 - OPEN THE CLASP

Carefully insert a small screwdriver into the notch on the clasp and lift it upwards. This allows the clasp to be opened, providing access to adjust the length of the bracelet.

02 - ADJUST THE LENGTH

Once the clasp is open, adjust the length of the mesh bracelet to your preference by moving the clasp along the mesh. Find the position that ensures a comfortable fit for your wrist.

03 - CLOSE THE CLASP

Once the desired length is reached, close the clasp by lowering the movable part downwards. Make sure it locks properly to maintain the chosen length and ensure the stability of the bracelet.

Fitting the leather strap

01 - ALIGN THE HOLES

Make sure the holes on the leather strap line up with the mounting holes on the watch case.

02 - INSERT THE PIN

Place the strap pin into the hole in the watch face. Use the custom screwdriver to gently press down on the pin spring, allowing the pin to lower and seat firmly in the hole.

03 - LOCK THE PIN

Use the slotted screwdriver to wedge the pin into position, ensuring it is securely seated in the hole in the watch face. Make sure the leather strap is secure on each side.
